Notes & Reviews:

John Corigliano is one of today's leading composers in the US. His highly expressive music is popular with both seasoned concertgoers and the younger contemporary music audience. American pianist Andrew Russo and Canadian violinist Corey Cerovsek are both dynamic young rising stars who are already well-respected in contemporary music circles. This recording is an excellent addition to Black Box's ongoing survey of American contemporary composers which includes recordings of the music of John Adams, George Crumb and Ned Rorem.

Notes & Reviews:

This album was nominated for the 2007 Grammy Award for "Best Chamber Music Performance."
