With more than 450 concerts in his native Germany as well as North America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Felix Hell (b. 1985) is probably the best-known young concert organist in the world. After initial studies in Germany, he was awarded a tuition to Juilliard in 1999, where he studied with Matthew Lewis, and then it was on to the Curtis Institute, where he graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Music degree at age 18. This recording marks his American debut on the new Rieger-Kloss Organ at the Independent Presbyterian Church in Savannah.
