Notes & Reviews:

"Perhaps by listening to the music of Reger chosen not for its massiveness or virtuosity, but for the revelation it gives to us of the various sides of his musical personality, we can arrive at a more balanced view of his achievement." Robert Benjamin Dobey's study of Reger dates back to 1972, when, after graduating from Oberlin Conservatory, he spent a year studying with the Reger interpreter Michael Schneider in Cologne. Dobey's teachers have included Marian Thoma, Garth Peacock, Schneider and David Craighead. He has served as a keyboard artist with the Washington DC Bach Consort, and presently serves as organist and Choirmaster at Grace Episcopal Church.
