Notes & Reviews:

These two recitals taken from the Edinburgh Festivals of 1981 and 1984 offer a wonderful and varied follow-up to her St. John Smith's Square disc and shows her as one of the great recitalists, communicating wonderfully with a live audience. A typical program of Schubert, Strauss, Brahms, Mahler and of course her compatriot Dvorak but also including four rarely performed Schoenberg songs.
