Notes & Reviews:

Period instrument ensemble Antichi Strumenti offers a program of brilliant Baroque concerto music by Christopher Graupner (1683-1760), a contemporary of his close friends Handel and Telemann. Graupner turned down the position at St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, which then went to J.S. Bach. He was a prolific composer who wrote 113 symphonies and 44 concertos.
