Notes & Reviews:

The name Andre Fleury is inseparably linked with the grand French tradition of organist-composers of the first half of the 20th century. Fleury not only offered a model of romantic/symphonic musical interpretations, he also approached the classical repertoire as well as Bach's works with great reverence. Fleury's music reflects the influence and styles of the composers and organists he associated with. One could describe the Symphony No. 2 as being in the great tradition of the organ Symphonies of Widor and Vierne, while exhibiting slightly more modern tendencies.
