Notes & Reviews:

This Pentatone release was recorded in DZZ Studio Moscow in November 2005 and February 2006. The chorus of Russias most prestigious opera house, The Bolshoi, appears here in a spectacular new surround-sound recording of famous arias, choruses and orchestral parts from the Russian Opera Repertoire.

John T Hughes, IRR
The Bolshoi Theatre Chorus revels in the Polovtsian Dances, as, perhaps even more so, does the Orchestra under Vedernikov, all well presented in lush sound.
