Notes & Reviews:

Mozart called the organ the "king of instruments," which he remarked upon in letters to his father. In his home city he became organist at the Cathedral in 1777 and to the court from 1779 to 1781. Regrettably, he wrote relatively few solo works for the instrument, and several of the works on this disc are transcriptions. Here they are performed by Michelle Leclerc, organist of the Cathedral of Sens and Les Bilettes Lutheran Church in Paris.
