Notes & Reviews:

"The Sibelius is exquisite, the Stravinsky is spicy and spunky, but the Ravel is extraordinary in all the ways that I want a reading of this quartet to be. The balance is perfect, the sound is absolutely beautiful, and the interpretation is lively, but it does not sound like it incorporates virtuosity for virtuosity's sake. The quartet lets all the details come out of the texture without ever having to point a figurative finger at them. They seem to be having a wonderful collective time playing, and they seem so engaged with the music and with one another that there is nothing about their performance that is not completely satisfying." -ARG
