Notes & Reviews:
At this writing, a modern, digital recording of this very same, rare piece has been released in England, but those with a penchant for 20th century British music can't simply be satisfied with one interpretation. This historic reissue goes back to the source, with the composer conducting an orchestra originally formed in 1916, at the University of Edinburgh, as an outgrowth of benefit concerts for British prisoners of war.
