Notes & Reviews:

The Danish composer Peter Erasmus Lange-Müller is known primarily for his "Alhambra Suite" and the stage musical "Renaissance" to Holger Drachmann's eponymous drama. More interesting is the recording of his two symphonies, rarely performed and both in D minor, which are played by the Bohemian Chamber Philharmonic under the conduction of Douglas Bostock, one of the most distinguished British conductors of his generation.
