Notes & Reviews:

This new mid-priced offering three celebrated discs, each one a Gramophone Award winner, newly presented in an attractive box with full documentation in English, French and German. Recorded under the direction of their founder and "mentor" Christopher Page, these original Gothic Voices recordings are the veritable benchmarks to which others can only aspire. Disc one, 'A Feather on the Breath of God,' music of Hildegard von Bingen, is one of Hyperion's all time best sellers. Disc two is 'The Service of Venus and Mars,' a recording of music for the Knights of the Garter (1340-1440). Disc three, 'A Song for Francesca,' was praised by the American Record Guide as, "Another treasure-trove for those who want to explore the neglected beauties of late medieval music."

'If you've managed to avoid buying these so far, don't miss the bargain offer' (Early Music Review)
