Notes & Reviews:

A superstar in her day, Farrar was a famous Carmen and Madame Butterfly. She sang often opposite Caruso and under Toscanini's baton. Beautiful, and an exceptional actress, she also took care with her recordings, as can be heard in these recordings from 1908-1913.
