Notes & Reviews:

This is another in the acclaimed reissue series from the fondly-remembered audiophile Michael Woodward LP series of the 1980s, "Organs of Unusual Interest." This particular volume brings together all of the four organs of St. Paul's Cathedral. The common factor in all of these recordings is, of course, the Cathedral itself, an enormous volume in which sound moves restlessly to and fro. The other common factor is the wonderful playing of the late Christopher Dearnley (1930-2000).
