Notes & Reviews:

By now you're probably familiar with the art of Peter Rosel, and these two recordings are a fine display of his varied talents. On the Prokofiev and Stravinsky disc, the exceptional accompaniments of the veterans Heinz Bongartz and Herbert Kegel and their respective orchestras should not be taken for granted either! In addition to his many concert appearances, Peter Rosel has made numerous CD recordings, ranging from the complete Beethoven Piano Concertos to works of Weber, Schumann, and Rachmaninov for piano and orchestra.
