Notes & Reviews:

The recording of Sir Simon Rattle's cycle the Mahler Symphonies commenced in 1986 with the Second Symphony and was completed in 2002 with the Fifth. Featuring the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic and the Vienna Philharmonic, this is the first time that all these recordings have been available together in one complete set.
