Longtime musical partners onstage, violinist Benjamin Schmid and cellist Daniel Raiskin have performed in numerous concerts together. Since their German premiere performance of Benjamin Britten's Double Concerto in 1998, they have played the work in over twenty-five concerts. Both devoted chamber musicians, they also regularly share the stage at all the leading European festivals.
