Notes & Reviews:
"Howard Hersh writes attractive, timbrally inventive music in an approachable post-minimalist idiom that should pose few problems to listeners interested in contemporary music... The Sonata for Violin and Percussion (with string bass obbligato) obviously recalls the music of Lou Harrison, but it's much more ambitious in length (nearly half and hour) and remarkably sustains it very well... In short, these are lovely performances of music well worth hearing, and the sonics are excellent too." -Classics Today (9/9)
