Notes & Reviews:

"Semi-Suite (1998) was written for guitarist and Bridge Records owner David Starobin. These six pieces are pure pleasure. Musical, inventive, and for the most part unabashedly tonal, they are easily recommendable additions to the solo guitar repertoire. I've been unable to get II ('Aimless Air', a beautiful rondo) and IV ('Shameless Sarabande') out of my head for days. I couldn't help wondering what Mr Lansky's catalog might have been like if he had spent more time contributing to the classical performance world. It's not too late! Mr Starobin adds to his reputation as one of the world's great guitarists." -ARG
