Notes & Reviews:
The idea of staging a wordless version of Mozart's Cosi fan tutte followed a collaboration in 2001 between the mimes of the Omnibus troupe and the musicians of Pentaedre. At this first meeting, Pentaedre performed a series of wind quintets, to which Omnibus performed their creations. Five years later the adaptation of Cossi was designed to retain only the dramatic framework of Da Pointe's libretto and the melodic lines of Mozart. This way a simple and touching sincerity was preserved.
