Wlach made many recordings after the War, particularly for the American Westminster label. His performances, half a century later, are still beloved, especially in Japan. Prior to his work for that label, he recorded these classic performances for EMI and Bertelsmann, and Opus Kura is proud to make them available once again, fifty years after the passing of this exceptional artist.
