Notes & Reviews:

An excellent, inventive coupling of two unexpected, closely related works from beloved composers in a well-considered, passionate performance by two young musicians. Violinist Liza Ferschtman, still in her twenties, is already recognized as one of the most significant artists of her generation. Her performances are known for their passionate yet intellectual qualities. After winning all national violin competitions as a teenager, Ferschtman went for the Philip Morris Finest Selection Award and multiple prizes at the International Violin Competition of Sion. In 2006 she received the prestigious Dutch Music Award.
