A new signing for Naive, Greilsammer now presents a very personal recital: an original and highly convincing selection devoted to the fantasia genre. The symmetrical program begins with Bach's 'Fantasy' from 'Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue' and the progresses through Brahms, Schoenberg, Cage and more, eventually finding its way to Mozart's 'Fantasy in C minor, K. 475'. The second half of the program mirror images the composers from the first, eventually working its way back the 'Fugue' from Bach's 'Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue'.

In this enjoyable piano montage, 16 items have been arranged symmetrically around Mozart's Fantasy in C minorààit's as though the alienation effect of piano "preparation" has been applied to a whole disc.
