Born into a family of musicians, Mila Gergieva began playing violin at four. Even before her teen years she was gaining international fame in competitions throughout Europe. She then came to the United States to study with Dorothy De Lay and Cho-Liange Lin at the Juilliard School and with Yfrah Neaman at the Guildhall School in London. In the years since, she has performed with the major orchestras and conductors of the world and has produced a number of commercial recordings. Since 2003 she has been the concertmaster of Radio Stuttgart Symphony Orchestra.
