On this world premiere recording from OUR Recordings, we hear Palle Mikkelborg's music for the ballet 'Journey' performed by Kim Sjogren and Lars Hannibal featuring Mikkelborg himself on keyboards. The music was inspired by the great Danish ballet dancer Erik Bruhn and thus encouraged the choreographer Christopher Bruce to create a ballet for the Houston Ballet Company. This CD also presents three other world premieres of works written especially for Sjogren and Hannibal by Vagn Holmboe, Herman D. Koppel and Jorgen Jersild.
