Notes & Reviews:

Toby Spence was recently described by the Guardian as ‘British opera's blue-eyed boy, having scored big successes at this year's Edinburgh Festival production of Britten's Curlew River, and as Tamino in an especially impressive return of ENO's staging of Mozart's Magic Flute. Covent Garden has booked him to sing his first Don Ramiro - the Prince Charming role in Rossini's Cinderella - opposite Magdalena Kozena in 2007’. Evading categorization since the beginning of his career, Spence has been described as being at home in both Wagner and Rameau roles, along with everything in between.
