The Choir consists of 18 choristers and a varying number of Probationary Choristers, 6 Lay Clerks and 4 Supernumerary Lay Clerks who sing at the weekend only services. The Choristers all attend the King’s School in Gloucester where their education is supported by the Dean and Chapter and by scholarships from generous donors. Together with the choirs at Hereford and Worcester Cathedrals they play a major part every year in the Three Choirs Festival.
