Since 2003, world-class musicians have met annually in Karnten, Austria, at the "Trigonale – Festival of Early Music". This sampler, just released by Raum Klang, brings together the highlights of the 2007 festival, which took place under the motto of "Elements." The live concert recordings range from music of the Middle Ages, including motets by Guillaume de Machaut, through the Renaissance and Baroque eras to interpretations of the music of Mozart and Haydn.
