Notes & Reviews:

Jon Ward Bauman studied composition with Cecil Effinger at the University of Colorado. His M.M. and D.M.A. degrees were from the University of Illinois where he studied with Salvatore Martirano. He has taught at Frostburg State University and at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica in Adria, Italy. He was the co-founder and music coordinator of "Music at Penn Alps," conductor of the Penn Alps Chamber Orchestra, the Symphony Under the Stars Orchestra, the Western Maryland Symphony and the Potomac Highlands Symphony Orchestra.
