These three releases continue the Anthology of Russian Symphonic Music series featuring the distinguished conductor Evgeny Svetlanov. Svetlanov, who died in 2002, was one of the titans of the Russian musical world, making more than 2,000 recordings during his long and distinguished career. He recorded all the 40 symphonic works of Nikolay Miaskovsky and was the first Russian to conduct and record all the Mahler symphonies.
