The organ of the Bovenkerk (St Nicholas Church) in Kampen has a long history beginning in 1524 with extensive modifications made in the 17th and 18th centuries. In 1957 the organ was disassembled because of church restoration and an overall restoration was accomplished in 1975. Eric Quist is the organist of the Reformed congregation at Tholen and has two recordings to his credit.
