Great European Organs Vol 74 - Richard Lea plays the Walker Organ of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral

Remarks:

The organ featured in volume 74 of Priory's Great European Organ series was built by J.W. Walker and Sons and was completed in time for the opening of the Cathedral in 1967. The organist on the recording serves as organist and assistant director of music at the Cathedral. He studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and was Organ Scholar at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. He has made numerous recordings and broadcasts.
