The current interest in Respighi's music has led to the rediscovery of many of his lesser-known and unpublished compositions. This recording contains two world premieres (Concerto all'antica and Concerto a cinque) and the first compact disc recordings of the Chaconne and Pastorale, all beautifully performed by the former concertmaster of the Munich Philharmonic, Ingolf Turban.
