Based in the U.S. since 1974, internationally-known Ko Iwasaki has performed both as a soloist and as a chamber music player in Europe, the former Soviet Union and Japan. He founded the Tokyo Chamber Soloists and is a member of the Japan String Quartet. He has taught at Illinois State University, the University of Illinois and Southern Methodist University. He plays on a cello by Antonio Stradivari made in 1727.
