Originally released in 1989, this program of works for trombone and orchestra is performed by the Yugoslavian trombonist Branimir Slokar. Slokar studied at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique in Paris. After graduation he became principal trombonist of the Ljubljana Radio Orchestra and subsequently served as principal trombone of the Berne Symphony Orchestra and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
