Notes & Reviews:

A new work in the series of 'Ricordi Oggi'. Italian composer Bruno Maderna conducts his own compositions, played by famous flutist Severino Gazzelloni. Dedicated "with a friend's affection" to Gazzelloni and Lothar Faber, who performed it for the first time in Rome in February 1970, 'Grande Aulodia' is a variation on the theme of musical humanism.
