Notes & Reviews:

One of the greatest pianists of the twentieth century, Arthur Rubistein received international acclaim, especially for his performances of Chopin. Born in Poland in 1887 he was a child prodigy, making his debut with the Berlin Philharmonic when hew was only thirteen. After living in London and Paris he became an American citizen in 1946. He was also a brilliant chamber musician who had an enormous passion for life and a unique gift for communication. His playing nourished the soul, engaged the mind and ravished the senses.
