Notes & Reviews:
SYLVANO BUSSOTTI: a Renaissance master in the 20th century. To call Sylvano Bussotti a protean genius is an understatement. He is not merely a composer, but also an all-round man of the theatre, scholar, painter and illustrator. An Italian who came to artistic maturity in Paris and Berlin, he has drawn on Schoenberg's legacy as much as on that of the Italian Renaissance masters, and has produced an extensive oeuvre encompassing all genres.
