New Zealand-born, American-based flautist Marya Martin enjoys an international career. She joins acclaimed American pianist Colette Valentine for this recording which brings together eight contrasting yet complementary pieces commissioned for her from leading composers whom she admires and who enthusiastically agreed to participate.
