Notes & Reviews:

Haydn is the earliest member of the "mighty trio" of the Viennese Classical era completed by Mozart and Beethoven. It is for that reason that he is considered the creative pioneer in almost all genres, since he fundamentally developed both the symphony and the string quartet.
