Notes & Reviews:
Taking recordings made in 1958, 1960 and 1961 by Ernest Ansermet and the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Cascavelle has offered a tribute to Spain in this volume of the Ernest Ansermet series. Ansermet had a particularly deep knowledge of Spanish culture and language and his affinity for the music of de Falla is legendary.
