The Pleiades is the name of the Seven Sisters, a cluster of stars located in the Taurus constellation. According to Greek mythology, the god Zeus was captured by the beauty of Pleione's daughters and turned them into bright stars to give them immortality. Much like the Pleiades, this ensemble constituted solely of women performs operatic and symphonic pages following their own gentle character.
