Notes & Reviews:
On this recording, Leonard Slatkin leads the Saint Louis Symphony in Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky and Jerzy Semkow takes the helm for Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade. Originally produced and recorded by the Grammy winning team of Marc Aubort and Joanna Nickrenz for Vox, these stunning performances were mixed to two-track and transferred directly from the original four-track tapes to 24/96 by Marc Aubort of Elite Recording in New York City. This DAD disc is playable ONLY on standard DVD players, including those on personal computers.
