Cappella Romana's The Divine Liturgy in English in Byzantine Chant is a two-disc a cappella recording of exotic Middle Eastern Byzantine Chant sung by an all-male ensemble, retaining all the mystery of old-world sacred chant, but sung in English. Presented in a beautifully printed digipak with medieval icons from Cyprus, it includes a 40-page booklet with extensive essays on Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine chant for the keen enthusiast. This is Cappella Romana's third release produced by multiple Grammy winning producer Steve Barnett (Chanticleer, Dale Warland Singers, Saint Paul Sunday), and the group's tenth release overall.
