This is a recording of music for piano by Danish women composers whose lives spanned the end of the 19th century through the mid-20th. The pianist Cathrine Penderup studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and The Victorian College of the Arts in Australia. She has won prizes in numerous competitions and is known for championing the music of women composers.
