Notes & Reviews:

Emile Jaques-Dalcroze is probably best known for his songs and children's dances that have produced a musical education system for children. His orchestral music is undoubtedly the least known of his immense repertoire and was neglected even during his lifetime. This recording offers his two violin concertos.

"This outstanding CD features [Jaques-Dalcroze's] two beautiful Violin Concertos, which show him to be a master of his craft. These committed, vibrant performances were recorded recently in Moscow by the gifted young Russian violinist Rodion Zamuruev with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alexander Anissimov. Highly recommended." - New Classics
