Notes & Reviews:

The new CD by the Austro-American piano duet of Waltraud Wulz and Antoinette Van Zabner follows a concert program of piano music for four hands on the theme of Vienna. All of the works were either written in Vienna or have Vienna as their subject. The program, and serious four-handed music, begins with Mozart. After his Sonata in C major K. 521, you can listen to Schubert's famous Fantasia in F minor D. 940, Ivan Erod's Little Suite for 20 Fingers, Maurice Ravel's La Valse and, in conclusion, the Voices of Spring Waltz by Johann Strauss, Jr.
