Notes & Reviews:

Import Hybrid-SACD pressing.

BBC Music Magazine, June 2010 *****
The performance is, as you'd now expect from [Suzuki's] Collegium, excellent. Voices range from delicate soloists to a splendidly light and transparent 18-strong chorus. Instrumental support is discreet but colourful... The recording makes its distinctive mark among many competitors.

Gramophone Magazine, July 2010
The performances are splendid. After its solemn beginning, 'Komm, Jesu, komm' is light, almost flirtatious in places...In 'Jesu, meine Freude', Suzuki finds a perfect balance between drama and lyricism, and 'Singet dem Herrn' is full of rhythmic vitality. Recommended with all possible enthusiasm.

Penguin Guide, 2011 edition
This is one of [Suzuki's] best CDs and, beautifully recorded, it is still worth exploring... The familiar motets are memorable too, the opening Singet dem Herrn particularly fresh, and Jesu, meine Freude strikingly beautiful.
