> Symphony No. 5 in B flat major, WAB 105 - II. Adagio

Notes & Reviews:

"The orchestra is fine, its brass smooth, clean, deeply sonorous, betraying little or no evidence of any jarring non-Germanic character. At 74 minutes, Janowski's tempos are right on center, and his treatment is traditional in all respects. The only oddity is that the first few seconds of string pizzicato in I are very faint - nearly inaudible... The Pentatone SACD recording is clear and solid, with exceptional dynamic range, and clean as a whistle... I've no problem with issuing top marks for this fine recording. Janowski knows his Bruckner as well as anyone around." - American Record Guide
