Notes & Reviews:

Born in Siberia in 1866, Vladimir Ivanovich Rebikov is scarcely remembered today. Despite his considerable achievements, and though sometimes called the father of Russian modernism, Rebikov has been driven to the margins of musical history. On this recording, only one short selection has ever been recorded.

Notes & Reviews:

Recording information: St. John the Baptist Church, Alkborough, North Lincolns (2009).
